Biography
|
I am Ishaan Gupta, a resident of the beautiful city of Chandigarh (India). I am 21 years old and currently a student of biotechnology at University Institute of Engineering and Technology at Panjab University.
I am working as Youth Volunteer with Nehru Yuva Kendra, Chandigarh (India). NYKS is an organization to fulfilling the combined vision of Gandhiji’s village development program and Nehruji’s vision of a self-reliant modern India. I have also worked under the youth wing of ROTARACT. It is basically a youth organization working for the upliftment of the needy.
I am a cricket lover. I also like playing guitar, reading fiction and autobiographies, watching movies and visiting different places. I like to maintain a balance between studies and extra-curricular activities. I don’t believe that anyone could be judged purely on the basis of his/her academic performance since marks/grades don’t reflect anyone’s true personality and potential.
I believe in equality of all religions, castes and communities. I hate communalism and violence in any form. I visualise a world in which differences are respected and celebrated, peace and harmony are practiced, poor and underprivileged are empowered. Youth who are the future of tomorrow could play a significant role in community and national development. |
