Biography

I am Ranju Gurung from the country of highest mountain peak The Mt. Everest & the country where the Lord Buddha was born. I belong to one of the ethnic group of Nepal. I am graduating in Rural Development & English literature. My hobbies are to work in the field of my interest, making friends, having good time with family & friends, photography, travelling learning things as much as I can. I have worked for ACF (Action country La faim or Fight against hunger) as a interviewer in Malnutrition Casual Analysis Assessment as a interviewer on a survey for 10 days in 2008 in 12 village development committees. During that work I came to know of the problems & struggle to live a life faced by rural people. Recently I have been working for Collective Camping for Peace (COCAP) as a core group volunteer, it is a national network for human rights and peace. I have been capacitated in the field of Human rights, gender, peace, facilitation skills. Recently i am working as social mobilizer in Women Progress Centre the Local Governance Community Development Program. I am interested to work for the better humanity I think humanity should be the biggest religion in the world. All are equal everybody should be treated equally. |
