Biography

I am a native Torres Strait Islander from Australia. Torres Strait is the tropical maritime area between North Australia and Papua New Guinea. Dancing and music is natural to me, inherent from my island culture and planting and gardening is my passion. I love reggae music and all forms of live jamming. Among my favourite pastimes is playing music with my friends. I am brilliant on electric guitar and can produce any song or sounds I choose. Often I have performed in live bands at all sorts of gigs. Recently I have discovered the importance of living healthily and became a powerful advocate of eating fresh raw fruits and vegetables. I am appalled at the quality of foods available to my community laced with numerous and dangerous chemicals in the forms of pesticides/herbicides/preservatives/mould inhibitors etc. all bad for health but good for corporate profit. Bad foods create sickness and World Health Organisation and government sponsored corrupted pharmaceutical transnational corporations are profiteering by dealing drugs for health. We require good food, water and clean environment. I am outraged by their despicable criminal behaviour but choose to be positive and eat fresh and garden profusely to create a sustainable and better world for us. I am dedicated to spreading this vital message. |
